Performance Plus class
This class is designed to enrich the learning experience of high performing students in Mathematics, English, Humanities and Science. Students will be encouraged to become critical thinkers through enrichment opportunities in each of these learning areas. There will also be regular opportunities for students to participate in cross-curricular activities.
Students are selected for this program through submission of a portfolio of evidence, which demonstrates sustained high achievement in primary school. The program begins in Year 7 with students continuing in Years 8 and 9 provided they continue to demonstrate high performance in their studies and meet criteria. Students are closely monitored and supported to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved. If places become available during the school year, student selection will be based on semester results and teacher recommendations.
