Course Outline

In today’s digital world, knowing how and they why of technology offers a limitless amount of opportunities for both academic and real life. Since the invention of the Internet, the development of new computing technologies has steadily increased, leading to fundamental changes in the way we live and work. As computing technologies continue to rapidly expand and evolve, gaining a wide variety of practical information technology skills will pave the way for independent thinking and problem solving. This course will equip the students with a variety of skills such as basic programming, photo and sound editing, presentation and spreadsheets tools as well as utilize the very devices our future will be immersed in such as 3D printers and robotics. This, combined with knowledge in networks, hardware and the impact technology has on society, will offer students opportunities to become confident users of technology and produce solutions to problems from a new perspective: an extremely useful 21st century skill in any career choice.
