Our Year 11 Certificate II Business students recently put into place their entrepreneurial skills and ran their Market Day!
In teams, students worked collaboratively and effectively to plan, organise, and manage their stalls. Their energy, organisational, and team skills were most impressive. The school community enjoyed the variety of products, which included POTATO TORNADOES, FRIED RICE, NOODLES, PIZZA, CHURROS, WAFFLES, DONUTS, AND COOKIES! All profits will be donated to our sister school in Cambodia, Preah Beida Ekreach High School, to improve their facilities.
Market Day not only provides the opportunity for the students to put into practice their acquired employability skills, but it brings our school community together -–there is such a happy buzz in the air – and our school’s values of care, collaboration, courage, curiosity, and commitment all come together for this one event!
